Chateau de Santenay Beaune 1er Cru Montee Rouge 2018 – 750ML

The structured rich wine gives off notes of red fruits on the nose mingles with a flattering swish of cherry, spicy oak and stony minerality flavors to give a very appealing style. Chateau de Santenay is located in Beaune, the wine capital of Burgundy. Beaune wines are full and fleshy which is present in the Beaune 1er Cru with all its tannins. 

Chateau de Santenay – Beaune 1er Cru pairs beautifully with turkey and mushrooms, especially morels. The winemaker suggests a rich morel risotto to go with this wine.
