Once the pot with all the ingredients is in the oven, there’s no need to worry about it. Everything is ready at the same time, the gentle cooking preserves the intrinsic flavor of the ingredients and their important vital substances. This way, you can enjoy it with a clear conscience.
      If fat should be an issue – be it for health reasons or because of weight – that’s also taken care of with the “Modern Look” roaster. You can prepare your food in it either low-fat or completely fat-free.

Cooking in clay pots is a tradition in many national cuisines. Even hunters and gatherers used clay to wrap their prey in and protect it from ashes when cooking in an open fire. In the R?mertopf, food is cooked without the addition of liquid or fat, so valuable ingredients are fully preserved. The result is gently and aromatically braised dishes from imaginably versatile ingredients

      • Suitable for up to 6 people – The roaster has a capacity of 5.2 quarts or up to 11 pounds of food. For a healthy and flavorful dinner. Use the roaster for a wide variety of foods, including beef, chicken, pork, fish, vegetables, soups, desserts, and bread.
      • The base of the roaster is glazed, which allows effortless cleaning. It is oven and microwave safe and can withstand temperatures up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
      • Crafted from all-natural clay material, R?mertopf clay roasters are made without Lead, Cadmium, or fillers. They have undergone safety testing in both Europe and the USA to ensure compliance.
      • We recommend soaking the unglazed lid of the roaster in water before use. During cooking, the water will evaporate and a mantle of steam will be created. The lid is intentionally designed to allow some of the steam to escape, so it is not a tight fit.
      • Outer dimensions of the roaster measures 15.5 inches in length, 10.7 inches in width, and 7.7 inches in height. Comes with a lid and a bottom.
