Andriano Chardonnay 2023 – 750ML

The 2019 Alto Adige Chardonnay Somereto is a true charmer. The wine delivers some of the mild creaminess and textural smoothness that comes naturally to Chardonnay (outside any oak regime), and that pretty, mid-weight fruitiness is especially compelling in this vintage. Somereto is refreshingly crisp, mineral driven and fruity. Simple winemaking is completed in stainless steel with a brief six months of lees contact. Indeed, this is a beautifully naked expression of the grape, from calcareous, reddish clay soils and a cool climate at 260 to 380 meters above sea level. The finish is citrusy, acidic and fresh.
